Juneteenth: Uplifting Black-Owned Businesses for True Liberation
Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Yet, freedom is incomplete without economic equality. Black America continues to face systemic barriers, and reparations remain unrealized. While structural change is critical, one immediate and impactful way to foster equity is by supporting Black-owned businesses.
This Juneteenth, I’ve compiled a list of 32 Black-owned businesses I’ve personally supported, along with two more on my radar. These brands span art, wellness, food, and fashion, showcasing the resilience and creativity within our communities.
